I am sure that when this subject is raised by thousands and it's thoroughly looked into, there will be a resolution and the videos will be pulled. Until then, we continue....
I personally feel there is a difference between "objectionable" and "controversial" from outright child pornography. Amazon feels this is a censorship issue (see letter below). I do not feel this is one and the same. Being a writer and avid reader, I do not believe in censorship on the whole. But child pornography is a different beast. Amazon may not care about my feelings on the matter, but if more people knew what was going on, we might make a difference.
Excerpts from their letter:
"....our goal is to provide customers with the broadest selection possible so they can find, discover, and buy any item they might be seeking. That selection includes some items which many people may find objectionable....
Amazon.com believes it is censorship not to sell certain titles because we believe their message is objectionable.... we will continue to make controversial works available ..... except where they are prohibited by law."
